Ameron Construction in the News ABC Excellence in Construction Award - November 2008 Ameron Construction received high honors from the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) for the Best Heavy Construction Sitework Project under $2 million. The project at Oakwood Center and the Oakwood Presbyterian Church involved major renovations to the existing infrastructure while maintaining access for current tenants, customers and church goers. The construction of two out parcel building pads, one of which is occupied by the Texas Roadhouse, required many new utility installations, earthwork, paving, landscaping and ultimately the widening of Waddle Road. Ameron worked closely with the Owner and their tenants to provide a staging and construction schedule which would best accommodate needs of all parties involved.
